The track included are from the Herb’s recent album Lightning – please support their work by purchasing their album.
“Lightning is aptly named. It is a brilliant flash of emotions and deeply personal lyrics that is over all too quickly. When the last song fades into quiet, you’ll be breathless with introspective wonder and a nostalgic smile on your face. Through the course of these ten powerful songs lost loves will emerge from the darkness of memory, future loves will appear in your imagination, and your soul will take a deep breath and sigh. Lightning builds to an emotional crescendo and lets go with a gentle push, as if the Herbs’ goal was not only to make a great album but also to help the listeners find a window into their own hearts. Each song is a complete work of art, but if you listen to the entire album in a sitting you’ll discover the sweet melancholy of the subliminal message created by the weaving of loss, love, desire, despair, and, most of all, hope through the course of the all too brief CD.” -RC, Syracuse
