Performance Notes
This Suite is written for Phillip Serna in gratitude for his support of modern composition and in awe of his fine viola da gamba playing skills. I am grateful to composer Dr. John A. Lennon for his excellent advice and encouragement in this and many other compositional efforts. I am also grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Randall Anderson for the loan of their cabin for a quiet retreat in the mountains of North Georgia, and for the inspiration those mountains provided me in writing this piece.

Please help us make viols accessible to both young and old.
